Description
Updating the Melville story from 19th century Wall Street to London in the 1970s, a young accounting clerk refuses to do his work, throwing his office into chaos. His boss, unable to fire him or help him, eventually has him placed in a mental hospital. Why the boss simply doesn't fire him is the crux of the film.
